What is the prayer that I should pray?

What is the prayer that I should pray
To overcome and know your way?
For I am weak — this I confess —
I trust my wisdom less and less.
Yours is the Kingdom, glory and power;
Your precepts save me every hour.
Your love and goodness daily cheer me;
My constant need: Lord, come be near me.

Mercies never ceasing

O God, come save without delay!
Keep Satan and his wiles at bay!
Nefarious forces surround us,
Temptations daily pound us!
Remember, Lord, we are but clay!

To you belong all power and praise,
Spiritual worship to you we raise!
Your mercies never ceasing,
Your blessings come increasing!
O God, how wonderful are your ways!

The Best and Purest Soul

Holy Father, praise is yours from all
creation, and from those on earth you call
to love and service. You, O Lord, are blessed,
who sends from heaven the Holy One, the best
and purest soul, to save us by his death —
Breathe in us the Holy Spirit’s breath!

Thanks and praise

Father in heaven, thank you for grace that grows in me.

Praise to you for the family of faith.

Humble me that I might be like Jesus.

Let the Lord be our focus and organizing center.

Make my works serve your eternal purpose.

You are above all creation and deserve our worship.

God of all, we are grateful for peace and hope.

Worthy, Worthy!

God of rock and water and tree,
Lord of heaven and earth and me,
Praise is yours, and all acclaim,
Worthy, worthy is your Name!

You are

Our Father in Heaven —

You are only God and Shepherd, ruling with your rod, guiding with your staff;

You are Source of love and life, shining forth and speaking words of power;

You are Savior, reaching down, absorbing our guilt, welcoming back, restoring souls;

Praise and glory and honor and power belong to You!

My Burden Too Heavy

Psalm 68.19

To you, O Lord, I surrender my load,
My burden for me too heavy to bear;
Rocky and dusty and long this road,
The covered skies breathe heavy air.

Because you carry me many days —
Step by step — forward I go;
And upward rises my hearty praise,
My Savior! — You in darkness I know.

Praise to God

John 1.1-18

Our Father in Heaven,

Praise to you for providing for your people, for Jesus who is for us fullness with grace upon grace.

Praise to you for the message of faith, that allows us the right to become your children, through your own will, and not the will of man.

Praise to you for Jesus, the Special One, who is with you, and become one of us, and showed us your glory.

Praise to you for grace and truth in Christ, that we might receive what we could never achieve, and know the Unknowable.

Praise to you for the light which shines and is never overcome, for the well-marked Path to your throne, for the life began at creation and recreated in your Spirit.

Praise to you for your invisible Spirit, now seen in the flesh of the Son of Man, demonstrating the glory too wonderful to look upon.

Praise to your for the Word, who speaks your mind and reveals your will and declares your purpose for our lives.

Grant to Me the Keen Desire

Lord, grant to me the keen desire
to live in love and seek your face;
May I recall my good Supplier,
And share abroad your saving grace.

Make every leaf and creature sing
Of goodness from your sovereign throne;
And if your thanks we fail to bring,
Let praise arise from rock and stone.
