Father, help me today to be
- Joyful where I am,
- Useful in my circumstances,
- Content within my confines.
I give you thanks for
- Peace that rules my heart,
- Truths that invigorate my mind,
- Promises that gives hope to my soul.
For those in need, I ask
- Receptivity to the Good News,
- Courage to meet the challenges,
- Strength of will to go the distance.
