I believe, I know

Faith prayer

Lord Almighty, I believe,
Forgive my unbelief;
For lack of trust in you I grieve,
Of sins this is the chief.

My eyes can’t see, for all their strength,
The plans that you have made,
Nor love in all its depth and length
That marked my sins as paid.

Your gentle presence I cannot feel,
To touch my senses fail;
My hazy sight can’t but conceal
Your hand within the gale.

But this I know: You move and speak,
You answer when I kneel;
Your wing protects the small and weak—
I know my God is real.

Lord, we believe

Lord, we believe that you created the heavens and the earth and that you infuse both with your presence, working in every place to fulfill your will.

Nowhere can man go in the universe away from your presence. This is to us a great comfort and reassurance.

We place our lives in your hands, our future in your care, our faith in your promise.

We trust in you. Our faith is in the faithfulness of Christ. Take us to the end. Amen.

My Lord Jesus does all things well, always speaks well

My Lord Jesus does all things well, always speaks well, because he acts outside of himself, for the good of others. Heavenly Father, make me like him; make me lose myself in you; make me over in the image of yourself. This I desire above all else.

Father, thank you that we can approach your throne any time from any place

Dear Father, we thank You that we can approach Your throne at any time from any place. Thank You, dear God, for having Your door and Your heart always open to Your children. May we never take for granted the blessed privilege that is ours to call upon Your Name. In the Name of Jesus who intercedes for us we pray, Amen. —Jeff A. Jenkins
