Psalm 68.19
To you, O Lord, I surrender my load,
My burden for me too heavy to bear;
Rocky and dusty and long this road,
The covered skies breathe heavy air.
Because you carry me many days —
Step by step — forward I go;
And upward rises my hearty praise,
My Savior! — You in darkness I know.
When pressure comes, we need relief —
O God, provide!
In loss and pain, we feel great grief —
Come, Lord, abide!
The heavy heart bears crushing weight —
Give Jesus’ load!
Let our steps pass the narrow gate
To your abode!
I come, O Lord, with heavy burden,
My labor leaves me tired;
Please give me rest, your gracious pardon,
That gentle yoke desired.
I take upon myself your load,
To carry it all the way;
To walk with you upon the road,
