Our Father who is in Heaven,
We know so little. Our hands are weak. Our eyes see only what is near. Come help us. Be present in our midst.
Thank you for another day to enjoy. We decide to live with your peace in our hearts. Help us to act today with kindness and contentment.
We decide to do your will. We want what you want. Help us to say only words that you approve. Give us strength to act like Jesus.
You are God, the only God. You made us and keep us alive. We say you are our God. We listen to you, we obey you, we want everyone to seek you.
We do so many things wrong. Please forgive us. We thank you for sending Jesus to make everything right. We don’t deserve to be alive, to have any good thing. We deserve only the worst. But you solved our problem by Jesus’ death. Thank you for loving us.
Father, we love you with all our being. Help us to love people around us. You have blessed us so much. Make us to be a blessing to others.
We wait for Jesus to come and take us to Heaven. We want to be there, with you. Thank you for this hope. It’s what gives each day meaning.
We pray to you now because Jesus carries our words to you. He is everything to us. Amen.
