Heavenly Father, in your providence we see your love. We feel surrounded by it, because we know that you always act in our good interest and for the progress of the kingdom. Your hand orders all things with wisdom.
Often, we do not understand your ways of working in this world. We trust and wait in confidence to see the outcome of your working.
Your providence is not to us a dark mystery, but a work that inspires faith. We will not dread or feel alarm. We feel a sense of safety wherever we go, as we seek to proclaim Christ.
We thank you for your protection from the evil one. We are conscious of your love surrounding us, wherever we may be. We praise you for every good gift and for revealing yourself to us as the Father of lights.
