From the distracted eye, which cannot focus on his word and meditate on it, save me, Lord.
From weakness of heart, whose prayer lasts no more than two minutes, save me, Lord.
From selfishness, which interprets the attitudes and words of others only in personal terms, save me, Lord.
From impatience, which wants everything now and forgets the hope of eternal salvation, save me, Lord.
