We praise you, O God, that the truth is knowable and not some dark mystery incapable of being understood. We acknowledge our finiteness and limited capacity, and give you thanks that you have put the truth within our grasp.
Thank you, Lord, that you have created us with the powers of reason, with the ability to think and reach right conclusions. Cultivate in us constantly this ability.
We’re grateful that others care to teach and correct us. Help us to have the humility of Jesus. Let us be open to learning and admonishment.
You are true, and all your commandments are pure. Blessed be the God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is the Way!
