Like all the starry bands,
From distant past,

At sea, or on farthest lands.
In you I trust to care,
In joy or deep despair.
Inhabit my soul,
Make heaven my goal,
Your Word my daily fare.
Each day your will be done,
Temptation help me shun;
See me and save!

Outlive the dying sun.
