Job 28
What tiresome work man does for gain,
In search of precious gems!
He runs great risk of death and pain;
To gather wealth he sins.
God’s wisdom comes at greater price,
Its vein does not appear;
But its locale is quite precise:
It’s found in godly fear.
O Lord! I ask to understand,
That I from evil turn.
To know the power of your right hand,
Your wisdom I would learn.
