O LORD God, our dear Father in heaven, we give thanks on this new day for the very gift of life that ignites our otherwise lifeless mortal bodies.
Grant us more of the perfect wisdom of Christ, so that we will not allow the Evil One to deceive us by making bad look good and good look bad.
Help us to open our hearts to the Spirit-inspired word containing the message of your plan of salvation for every person, so that we will use the truth, and nothing but the truth, tempered with love to those seeking salvation through obedient faith in Christ.
