Lord who cares for the church, bless your servants who dedicate themselves to teach and preach and guide the body of Christ. Uphold those who labor and preside and admonish the family of God. May they be esteemed for their work.
Father, especially bless today those preachers who deliver the Word so regularly, who both publicly and privately urge many toward your will.
Care for their finances. Heal their hurts and emotions. Protect their families. Purify their motives. Help them to be true to Scripture. Keep them from being employees, but show them how to empty themselves for the gospel.
Let them open their hearts to others, that others might open their hearts to you.
Thank you, Lord, for preachers. May we support them and love them!
