Father, I want to be righteous, doing what is correct and right, in order to please you in all things and be holy as you are holy, so give me the righteousness of Christ in the sanctification of the Spirit.
Lord, I want to be wise, so I ask it of you who is the source of all true wisdom and discernment and who gives generously without chastisement.
O God, I want to be faithful, but my powers are insufficient to last until the end, so in my weakness cast me upon your boundless strength to endure.
