God of truth, keep us from making oaths and promises, so that we will not have to choose later between breaking them or doing wrong by keeping them.
God of holiness, keep us from worldliness, materialism, and sensuality, so that they do not lead us into compromising situations.
God of oneness, let us never act or fail to act for the gospel based on what others think.
God of suffering, give us courage to face the trials that come with faithfulness.
